Rinkuro Kiln was established in 1968 in Hasami Pottery, a pottery production area with 400 years of tradition. It was created with the aim of creating unique style and high quality pottery.
They continue to produce products with their unique sensibility, such as sometsuke blue and white ceramics, the gorgeous old Imari style, and somenishiki, a perfect balance of sometsuke and red-patterned akae. In recent years, they have been working hard to create tableware that meets the needs of both the Japanese and Western styles, and their creative activities are in tune with the times.
Origin
Hasami ware is a traditional Japanese ceramic produced in Hasami Town, the “Town of Pottery," located in Kyushu's Nagasaki Prefecture. It has been loved as durable daily tableware for for over 400 years.
Hasami ware is characterized by vibrantly colored painting on beautiful pure white porcelain, a typical Japanese porcelain style. Although the traditional patterns are inherited, new designs are being created every day that pair well with modern lifestyles.

Sake Sets
When preparing to savor delicious sake, it’s important to consider the sake set as well. Sake is a delicate drink whose flavor changes depending on temperature and exposure to air. To enhance your experience, select a sake cup and carafe that complement both the unique qualities of the sake and your personal taste.

Kinrande
Introducing a tableware collection inspired by the kinrande style, an elegant and vibrant design style that draws inspiration from old Imari ware. Kinrande-style Imari ware gained immense popularity as export items between the 18th and 19th centuries. Large vases and plate sets were crafted especially for European royalty and nobility, and these pieces were highly valued as elegant and beautiful additions to their palaces.
This collection features luxurious gold accents, deep shades of red, and elegant blues. Many designs are densely packed with intricate patterns set within balanced, symmetrical compositions. Floral motifs, particularly those of peonies and chrysanthemums, frequently appear. Additionally, mythical creatures like dragons and phoenixes are prominently depicted, symbolizing power and rebirth, respectively, and adding an auspicious touch to these extravagant ceramics.
