A beautiful Japanese round plate is from a series of “Hamorebi”, meaning sunlight leaking through the leaves. This delicate painting on the rim is hand-painted by female artisan Ms.Chie Sakurai.
Each piece is hand-painted by brush, using Japanese color paint which is one of the remarkable features of Kutani ware, as you can see the painted part is slightly thickened.
The plate is 26cm (10.2in), perfect for serving any main dish. This beautiful plate with colorful leaves adds you the joyful and pleasant atmosphere to your table setting.
