The charcoal gray coat is created by baking acrylic paint on the aluminum surface of the vase. It creates a peaceful ambience and gives a natural texture to the sides and the basin of the vase. This ikebana flower vase comes with a kenzan, a metallic flower frog, to set flowers and greenery.
