Hibiki Yamanaka Lacquerware box with dividers
This premium wooden box with dividers is handcrafted by artisans of Yamanaka Lacquerware, which is famous for the techniques that make the most of the grain of wood.
The technique of applying lacquer many times and wiping it off each time is called "wipe-lacquer". By doing so, lacquer ware is polished and finished in a glossy yet dignified beauty with a beautiful grain. By using high quality Japanese wood, you can feel the nature and enjoy the beauty of various wood grain patterns.
This box is finished with black lacquer, and the beautiful wood grain can be seen through under the black lacquer outside. Inside, the color and grain of the wood are kept as they are, and the appearance is closer to nature.
Perfect for serving appetizers or side dishes. With its partition, you can enjoy setting various small bowls or plates in it. You can also serve the dishes directly on it, which will look gorgeous and sophisticated.
In addition to food, you can also add small accessories to decorate your room.
