    Enchanting Japanese vase

This vase is reminiscent of antique sake bottles, but a fraction of their price - IF you can find one. It is highly decorative, but being basically one colour, plus a little black and gold, it is not gaudy. The background colour is a restful sage green, and the principal image in black and gold depicts a path or river running diagonally across it. The vase’s shape is asymmetrical, and is cleverly balanced by the varied width of the image.
