Nishiki Banreki Mino Ware Bowl L
This large sized Japanese Donburi bowl features a painting of flower garden in the style of combination of ”Nishiki-e” and "Banreki".
It is suitable for rice bowl recipes using about 1.2 cups (1.2 gou) of rice.
Also suitable for noodles with soup, such as ramen, udon, soba, etc.
Because of its depth, it can be used for larger-than-usual amounts of noodles or a lot of toppings.
"Nishiki-e" is originally an elaborate woodblock print with multiple colors. "Banreki" is a five-color porcelain protected by the Emperor of the Ming Dynasty in China. It is characterized by gorgeous and exquisite brushwork in red.
