This is a two-tiered Jubako bento box, adorned with a lustrous glaze that emits a colorful radiance. It is embellished with pink and white gradient cherry blossoms and petals, creating an enchanting and lovely springtime ambiance. Additionally, the inside of the lid and the bottom of each tier are colored in a light pink.
This bento box features two deep tiers suitable for generous portions of staple foods and side dishes. It also serves well for offering confectionaries or fruit at tea gatherings. Its sakura, cherry blossom, pattern complements many tea sets, and the beautiful design makes it an attractive home decor piece.
At Tasei Kiln, two skilled female artisans, each with over 40 years of experience, meticulously paint intricate and graceful patterns onto each item before coating them with a luster glaze. This special technique imbues the sauce plate with a luxurious and stylish feel. Following the painting of sakura designs, they are meticulously masked off, leaving the remaining surface to be coated with the luster glaze. The white surface exhibits a distinct textured glossy glimmer and shines beautifully under light, enhanced by an added sprinkle of glaze.
