At Tasei Kiln, two skilled female artisans, each with over 40 years of experience, meticulously paint intricate and graceful patterns onto each item before coating them with a luster glaze. This special technique imbues the sauce plate with a luxurious and stylish feel. Following the painting of sakura designs, they are meticulously masked off, leaving the remaining surface to be coated with the luster glaze. The white surface exhibits a distinct textured glossy glimmer and shines beautifully under light, enhanced by an added sprinkle of glaze.
