Autumn is the season for outings to see beautiful leaves changing their color. It is the season to take our lunch boxes and go outside for picnics more often.

Use this food stick simply to spear a few small pieces of items such as fruit, cheese, vegetables, or meat to create fresh mini skewers. Create fun garnishes by spearing fruit, olives, or meatballs with food picks’ pointed end. There are many ways to arrange them.

The charm of this product is not only its cuteness, but also the fact that it is made of bamboo, making it safe to carry in one's mouth. Bamboo has antimicrobial action, which helps to stop foods from perishing. It is safe to use even for families with small children.

Miyabitake is a brand of bamboo products handmade in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, where is the largest producer of Japanese timber bamboo.

Beppu bamboo crafts originated in the Muromachi period (1336-1573) when baskets for peddlers were made and sold. During the Edo period (1603-1868), as the name of Beppu Hot Springs spread, kitchen utensils were made for use by the guests of the hot springs during their stay. As these items were brought back home as souvenirs, many bamboo crafts were produced and became a local industry in the Beppu area.
