A Fun Curry Lunch with Long Plate

Make it a fun curry lunch with this beautiful Higashi Kiln P.S. Blue Tobe Long Deep Plate with big blue flowers and gold as an accent color. The blue flower series from Higashi kiln will bring a beautiful and refreshing to your table.

I chose the Higashi Kiln P.S. Blue Tobe Long Deep Plate as my curry dish. The large blue flowers with a watercolor-like texture create a fun atmosphere. It is a 33cm (12.9in) wide oval plate, so it is useful for holding fruit or serving salad.

To match the main curry dish, I chose a bowl from the same series by Higashi Kiln for dessert. The inside of the bowl also has a large flower painted on it, so the flower will appear as you continue eating.

The blue flower series from Higashi Kiln was created by female artisan of Tobe ware. The refreshing look holds the essence of Tobe ware, which is famous for the indigo blue pattern on white porcelain.
