Atelier Yu Cats In Sunny Spot Kutani Teapot

USD $50

This Japanese teapot is from the popular "Cats in Sunny Spot" series by Atelier Yu. It features a drawing of two cats snuggled up together.

The contrast of the soft and relaxing drawings of the cats and the texture of the traditional pottery colored in warm white create a charming and authentic atmosphere.

The size is perfect for 2 to 3 people. The simple shape of the spout is easy to wash.

The tea strainer is called a "Sasame" and is attached directly to the inside of the teapot. This allows the tea leaves to circulate easily inside the pot, making the tea more fragrant. This is especially suitable for drinking high quality Japanese tea.

You may also find matching rice bowls, matcha bowls and mugs in our store.

Atelier Yu is known for its delicate handiwork, as you can see the Japanese color paint makes thickness on the colored part by painted with a brush.
