Description

This ceramic Japanese teapot is from the popular "Cats in Sunny Spot" series by Atelier Yu. It features a drawing of two cats snuggled up together. Atelier Yu is known for its delicate handiwork, as you can see the Japanese color paint makes thickness on the colored part by painted with a brush.

The contrast of the soft and relaxing drawings of the cats and the texture of the traditional stoneware colored in warm white create a charming and authentic atmosphere.

The size 360ml(12.2oz) is perfect for 2 to 3 people.
The stainless tea strainer is attached inside of the teapot.
The simple shape of the spout is easy to wash.

Celebrating Cat Day: Cats in Japanese Crafts

Cats are cherished around the world for the comfort they bring, whether they are basking in the sun or soothing us with their unexpected gestures. Also a familiar presence in the world of craft, cats have long been expressed in various forms through the dedicated handwork of artisans.

In celebration of "Cat Day" on February 22 in Japan, we have curated a collection featuring cat-themed plates, mugs, and lucky cat figurines. These tableware pieces add a playfulness to the dining table, while traditional maneki neko bring a sense of auspicious warmth to your living space.
