MUSUBI KILN Father's Day Card

JPY ¥500

Express your warm wishes for Father's Day with MUSUBI KILN's "Happy Father’s Day!" card. It can be sent as it is or attached to a gift. It has a blank space on the back for your personal message.

Asamidori is a light green color with a tinge of yellow reminiscent of fresh greenery in early spring or summer. This traditional color has been recognized since the Nara period (710 CE794 CE).

Featured on the corners of the card, origami paper cranes are seen as harbingers of good fortune and are imbued with wishes for longevity, happiness, and recovery from illness. As the Japanese proverb goes, "Cranes live for a thousand years, and tortoises for ten thousand years." The crane is especially revered as a symbol of longevity and considered an auspicious bird.

The design of the card is inspired by the "Genji Monogatari-zu Byobu" or Tale of Genji Scrolls, a national treasure that is often described as one of the most important works in Japanese art history. It vividly portrays the scenes from "The Tale of Genji" written by Murasaki Shikibu (973 CE–1014 or 1025 CE).

We also have a variety of greeting cards, such as "Happy Birthday" and "Thank You", so please choose the one that best suits your purpose.

NOTE:
Please note, we are unable to add personalized messages to the cards at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
