Description

This small placemat displays the beauty and versatility of aluminum by combining an artfully designed aluminum mat with a black aluminum base.

The top mat is designed in a "sayagata" pattern. Sayagata is one of the auspicious patterns that symbolizes prosperity and longevity of a family. It is a diagonal overlay of the Sanskrit character for manji (Buddhist cross).

The black base is made of sturdy aluminum with a matte finish. The surface is decorated with shallow random imprints giving it a marble-like texture.

The top mat and the black base both come with round urethane rubbers on the four corners on the back side to prevent slipping and scratching, and to make them easier to lift from flat surfaces.
