This set includes a blue and white ramen spoon and spoon rest, both featuring a hand-painted arabesque pattern in sometsuke, or blue and white. Not just ideal for pairing with the soup spoon, the spoon rest also makes a convenient small plate for appetizers or sauce.
The symbolic arabesque pattern, a hallmark of traditional Tobe ware, is elegantly drawn over the sides of both spoon and spoon rest, giving this set a unique and special feel. Its shade of indigo feels tastefully modern while still retaining traditional Japanese charm. Made of thick, durable porcelain, it is made to last. Pairs beautifully with Tobe ware ramen bowls, famous and widely used in ramen and udon restaurants across Japan.
