Mark happy moments together with the Ginkon Celebration chopstick set. Named after ginkon, meaning silver anniversary, this set includes two pairs of dark brown-lacquered wood chopsticks with silver-decorated tops. They combine the elegant sheen of traditional lacquerware with a sophisticated design.
The longer pair measures 23 cm (9 in) and features a black and silver top, while the shorter pair is 20.5 cm (8.1 in) with a red and silver top. Two golden rings are placed below the colored design. The chopsticks come in a paulownia wooden box and are wrapped with a Japanese noshi—a traditional gift label—with "ginkon" written in Japanese characters.
This chopstick set is made by Ishida, which has been crafting Wakasa lacquerware for over eighty years. Wakasa lacquerware has been a traditional craft of Obama City, Fukui Prefecture since the early Edo period.
Though named the "Ginkon" set, these chopsticks are suitable for various occasions. They make a charming, one-of-a-kind gift!
