The chopsticks come in a paulownia wooden box and are wrapped with a Japanese noshi—a traditional gift label—with "ginkon" written in Japanese characters.

This chopstick set is made by Ishida, which has been crafting Wakasa lacquerware for over eighty years. Wakasa lacquerware has been a traditional craft of Obama City, Fukui Prefecture since the early Edo period.
