The Musubi Mono Auburn Maple Dinnerware Set blends the refined artistry of Arita ware with the timeless appeal of Japanese lacquerware. Its rich red tones capture the essence of autumn, featuring pieces decorated with maple leaf designs and complemented by plates with soft water patterns. The set evokes a serene scene of maple leaves floating on water, inviting you to experience the peaceful beauty of the season.
The main plate, kobachi small bowl, and side plate are crafted from Arita ware, Japan's premier porcelain, with a 400-year history. The main plate features intricate wave patterns symbolizing peace and tranquility, with a subtle texture under your fingertips.
Decorated in the classic Kakiemon style, the bowl showcases asymmetrical compositions of pine trees, plum blossoms, and maple leaves. The side plate is shaped like two overlapping maple leaves, with one leaf accented in gold.
The miso soup bowl, rice bowl, and tray are all crafted from Yamanaka lacquerware. The rice bowl, made from mizume-zakura “cherry birch” wood, features delicate petal-like carvings inside and out, giving it a rustic yet refined elegance. The vermilion miso soup bowl catches the eye with its glossy finish, and its lid is adorned with gold and silver maple leaves and flowing water, symbolizing good fortune and harmony. It’s also worth mentioning that this item is an exclusive original by MUSUBI KILN.
The lacquerware tray in red and black ties the whole set together, creating a cohesive and polished presentation.
