At Tasei Kiln, two skilled female artisans with over 40 years of experience paint intricate and graceful patterns, and coat each item with a luster glaze. Their special technique gives the teacup a luxurious and stylish feel. The sakura designs are masked, and then the remaining surface is given the luster glaze. The glazed surface has a distinct textured glossy glimmer and shines beautifully under light.
