A rectangular hinoki cypress cutting board with beautiful grain and a faint, pleasant aroma. Lightweight yet sturdy, washing and storing is easy and stress-free. A convenient hole in one corner allows it to be hung on a hook for drying and storage. Finished with a subtly engraved MUSUBI KILN logo along the lower edge. Two sizes are available: small and large.
Each cutting board is made of straight-grain Tono hinoki cypress, carefully selected by skilled craftspeople. Highly durable and water-resistant thanks to its narrow tree rings, this wood has long been cherished as an ideal material for cutting boards. Constructed of horizontally joined, edge-glued panels, each board is highly resistant to cracking and warping, increasing its longevity. The soft wood surface is gentle on knives, helping blade edges stay sharp.
