A rectangular cutting board with the beautiful grain and faint, pleasant aroma of hinoki cypress. Lightweight yet sturdy, washing and storing is easy and stress-free. Finished with a subtly engraved MUSUBI KILN logo along the lower edge. Two sizes are available: small and large.
Each cutting board is made of straight-grain Tono hinoki cypress, carefully selected by skilled craftspeople. Highly durable and water-resistant thanks to its narrow tree rings, this wood has long been cherished as an ideal material for cutting boards. Constructed of horizontally joined, edge-glued panels, each board is highly resistant to cracking and warping, increasing its longevity. The soft wood surface is gentle on knives, helping blade edges stay sharp.
After use, this cutting board can be kept upright thanks to its self-standing design, eliminating the need for a separate cutting board stand and allowing for compact storage.
