This pink Nambu ironware teapot is designed to look like it is covered with sakura (cherry blossoms) on the top half. The expressive teapot is made by baking the base color and then spraying the vibrant color on top.
The sakura design is a common design used in Nambu ironware, and is a reference to the fact that the birthplace of Nambu ironware was once known for its beautiful cherry blossoms.
It has a capacity of 650 ml (22 fl oz), which is enough for a generous cup of tea. The inside of the teapot is enameled to prevent rusting even after daily casual use. It comes with a stainless steel strainer on the inside. The handle can be folded down.
