Nishiki Sakura Mino Ware Donburi Rice Bowl with Lid L
This large sized Japanese Donburi rice bowl features the painting of Sakura(cherry blossoms) in vivid colors. The painting style is called Nishiki-e, which is originally an elaborate woodblock print with multiple colors.
It is suitable for rice bowl recipes using about 2 cups (2 gou) of rice. Without a lid, it is also great for serving Soba noodles and Udon noodles without a lid. Because of its depth, it can be used for larger-than-usual amounts of noodles or a lot of toppings.
The lid will steam the food inside and make the rice and ingredients in the bowl taste better. It also keeps the food from getting cold and looks gorgeous, making it perfect for celebrations and entertaining guests.
The rim extends outward, making the surface on which the ingredients are placed look wider and thus more gorgeous.
