In Japan, dragonflies are seen as messengers of summer and autumn, and the sight of them darting over open fields stirs a sense of nostalgia. Samurai once prized the dragonfly as a symbol of strength, agility, and victory, since it flies only forward and never retreats.
With a capacity of 650 ml (22 fl oz), it holds enough tea for three to four cups. The enameled interior resists rust, so the pot stays in good condition with regular use. A stainless steel strainer is included, and the handle folds down when not in use.
