Arita Porcelain Lab Japan Blue Pearl Blue Rice Bowl
This rice bowl is slender and modernly designed and goes with, not only rice, but other menus on the table. The bowl is deep so you may want to put in a single-serving of salad, or cut fruit or even some dry snacks.
The small footing at the bottom gives this bowl a tall look and the two-colored design gives it a contemporary taste. A generous amount of rice served in this bowl would offer the perfect finishing touch to a Japanese style meal. And if you're still in the process of gathering Japanese style tableware, as this bowl is uniquely designed with a modern color of pearly blue, just add this to a Japanese style meal served on simple white or blue dishes.
This is an item from the Arita Porcelain Lab's signature series called Japan Blue.
While preserving the traditional style of Arita Ware, the blue tones are arranged in a modern way, and each piece is individually brushed by craftsmen to create an incomparable elegance. Many of the designs are arranged with traditional auspicious designs, making the tableware suitable for the modern dining scene.

ABOUT ARITA WARE
Arita Ware, made in the town of Arita in Saga Prefecture, is the oldest porcelain production area in Japan's history. Arita porcelain is characterized by its translucent white porcelain surface, dyeing using "Gosu" (indigo pigment), and gorgeous red painting using glassy overglaze pigments (red, green, yellow, purple, and blue). The pottery is highly durable and is produced in a wide variety of styles, from fine art to daily necessities. It was exported to Europe, where it was prized as fine art and called "white gold".
Arita Ware is also a prestigious brand that is admired by ceramicists from other regions as a representative porcelain production area.
