Auspicious Bird and Chrysanthemums

The porcelain base is crafted using the katauchi method. A smooth clay layer is applied over a mold and then meticulously hand-shaped with controlled pressure to replicate various forms, such as this chrysanthemum-inspired piece, for a delicately thin and uniform finish.
