A large knot motif flows continuously from the inside of the bowl, over the rim, and onto the outside, forming one unbroken line. The knot motif draws on the idea of musubi, or connection, between people and vessels, and between people and time. This original MUSUBI KILN ramen bowl features the motif in gosu, a cobalt-based blue pigment.
Empty, the bowl has a distinct presence of its own. Filled with ramen, the design comes into its own, making an everyday bowl of noodles feel just a little different.

Ramen Bowls
Ramen bowls, unlike other Japanese tableware, are usually not lifted while eating. They tend to be crafted from heavier ceramics and feature simple, neutral colors that complement any type of ramen.
