This Japanese vase features pine tree blowing in the wind on a chic black vase that will brighten up any room. It is made of wood resin and synthetic lacquer, both are durable against water.
In ancient China, pine trees that withstood wind and snow and remained green all year round were considered a symbol of longevity. It is also considered a tree of good luck in Japan, and there is a custom to place a decoration using a pine tree called a kadomatsu at the entrance during the New Year. Pine trees are also included among the particularly auspicious plants known as "Sho-chiku-bai (pine, bamboo, and plum)".
There is a container for flowers on the inside. Also two trays can be placed underneath the vase to make it look even more traditional and elegant.
