The intricate details of this tray showcase the artistry of Suruga Bamboo Basketry. Unique to this type of basketry, the tray is assembled using slender, circular bamboo strips, yielding delicate designs that gracefully bend and curve.
The surface displays a mesmerizing pattern reminiscent of hemp leaves, while the underside boasts a deeper shade in a herringbone-like pattern. With its warm brown hues, this tray seamlessly complements any season, but it particularly resonates with the vibrant leaves of autumn.
The delicate bamboo strips encircling the outside of the tray cast captivating shadows, making it an excellent dish for presenting snacks to your guests. Additionally, this lightweight piece can be effortlessly displayed on a wall or on a stand as a work of art.
Please wipe dust and dirt with a soft brush and a squeezed dish towel. Do not wash it in water or hot water. Use in a dry, well-ventilated place to enhance the natural luster unique to bamboo.
