Sakura Breeze Chopsticks Pair Set with Chopstick Rests

The essence of a soft spring breeze weaving through delicate cherry blossoms is eloquently expressed in this set of two pairs of chopsticks. An elegant harmony ensues as the cherry blossom motif on each chopstick dances over soft, silvery blue and gold. The black Wakasa lacquer base of the chopsticks creates a wonderful contrast with the beautiful decorations.
Further adding to the allure are the Hasami ware chopstick rests in a gentle pink hue. They are made using molds that are traditionally reserved for crafting rakugan, a classic Japanese confectionery.
Presented in a paulownia box with a lid, inscribed with the Japanese words "sakura saku"—a poetic ode to the blooming of cherry blossoms—these well-crafted chopsticks are a connoisseur's delight.

Crafts
Wakasa lacquerware is one of Japan’s leading production centers for lacquered chopsticks. Originating in Obama City, Fukui Prefecture, Wakasa lacquered chopsticks have a history spanning approximately 400 years and currently account for over 80% of domestically produced lacquered chopsticks in Japan.
These chopsticks are crafted using a unique technique that embeds abalone shells and eggshells in lacquer, creating shimmering ocean-inspired designs. While preserving traditional artistry, they are also designed for modern practicality.
