Matsukan Sakura Petals Wakasa Lacquerware Set of Two Pairs of Chopsticks 23 cm (9.1 in) / 21 cm (8.3 in) with Chopstick Rests (Set of Two)
The tender cherry blossoms accentuated with fine petals are carefully rendered on these subtly shimmering chopsticks. They quietly captivate with the undulating depth created by multiple coats of lacquer in walnut brown and vermillion red.
Adding to the allure of these chopsticks are the Hasami ware rests, finished in a gentle pink hue. They are made using molds that are traditionally reserved for crafting rakugan, a classic Japanese confectionery.
Presented in a paulownia box with a lid, inscribed with the Japanese words “sakura saku”—a poetic ode to the blooming of cherry blossoms—these elegantly crafted chopsticks are a connoisseur's delight.
