The teapot is in a well-rounded and well-balanced shape. The strainer is in a "Sasame" style where the stainer is attached directly to the inside of the teapot. This allows the tea leaves to circulate easily inside the pot, making the tea more fragrant. This type of strainer is especially suitable when brewing high-quality Japanese tea.
