The Wind of Color Flower Vases

This mold-blown glass vase captures the fleeting beauty of the seasons. Its interplay of transparent and opaque layers shifts gently with the light, while its weighted base and clean silhouette make it ideal for showcasing statement blooms.

This series is made using the katabuki (mold-blowing) technique. Molten glass is gathered on the tip of a blowpipe, layered with colored glass, then—while the form is gently shaped—set into a mold and inflated with breath to achieve its final shape.

Available in four colorways: blue, black, pink, and white.

The Blue and Black styles offer deep, refined tones highlighted by accents of gold leaf, lending each piece a quiet sense of drama and sophistication. In contrast, the White and Pink versions feature soft, graceful gradations—White with layers of ivory, yellow, and misty gray; Pink with a delicate blend of pale and dusky rose.

Tsugaru Vidro

Tsugaru Vidro is a handcrafted Japanese glassware made in Aomori Prefecture. It began in 1949 with the production of glass fishing floats. Later, the discovery that local sand from Shichiri-Nagahama produced a vivid green hue led to new creative explorations in color.

Since then, skilled artisans have continued to refine their techniques, using free-blowing methods and original colored glass to create delicate and vibrant designs. Each piece captures the natural beauty of Japan’s seasons, bringing warmth and color to everyday life.
